How to get healthy skin naturally

  1. Water Water everywhere!

Everybody says it and they say it right! Water constitutes 70% of our body. So keep yourself well hydrated by drinking water regularly. You won’t believe the wonders water can do to your skin. Try Drinking at least 8 glasses of water in a day and you’ll notice that natural glow you’ve always wanted. It also helps to cleanse our body, preventing the burst outs on your skin.
I personally like drinking coconut water (mostly because I love how it tastes). Coconut water is a great hydrant and it also helps to keep your body cool. You can also use it as a toner.

  1. You are what you eat…. Literally!

What you eat has a direct impact on not only your health but also your skin. Just like eating fresh foods will make your skin look all fresh, eating too much of junk food can make your skin look dull. Try to include fruits as one of your meals. Citrus fruits, in general, are great for the skin.

  1. Cleanse and Moisture

Cleaning your skin is an essential part to keep your skin healthy. Wash your face twice a day. Do not use harsh soaps on your face that strip some essential oils from the skin. Always moisturize your skin after cleaning it. Coconut oil is a great moisturizer and it also works as a great sunscreen. Our skin sheds dead skin cells every day. So it is important to get rid of those dead cells by scrubbing your body regularly.

  1. Get your beauty sleep

Do not underestimate the power of a good sleep. Get at least an 8 hour of sleep to avoid bags under your eyes and dark circles. If you can, try to go to sleep at the same time every night and wake up at the time to get your sleep routine right.

  1. Good vibes only

What we think shows on our face. Avoid stressing about things you have no control over. Make the most of life. Take some time out in a day to do things that you love. Keep your mind clean. Bring positivity to your life by reading good books, listening to music, or whatever it is that makes you feel good about you and your life.  And, again eat good and sleep well!

  1. Exercise

If you have an active lifestyle, good! But if you don’t, exercise for at least half an hour each day. Make your body sweat. It helps to release the toxins from our body, giving us the healthy glow. Go for a morning walk in your neighborhood park. Walking on the damp grass pressures points on our feet which help to increase the blood flow in our body resulting in a healthy skin.
